My stay at Shri Vasant Lodge was pleasant overall. The room service was excellent, and the complimentary WiFi made it easy to stay connected while working on my design projects. The housekeeping staff was attentive and ensured the room was always tidy, which I appreciated as a digital nomad with a busy schedule. The convenient location near the CBT bus depot and availability of bike facilities made exploring the area hassle-free. The à la carte breakfast offered daily was a delightful start to my mornings, especially the delicious idli and Mysore bhaji.However, there were some drawbacks to note. The bathroom could use some improvements, with broken toilet seat and no mirror, though the provision of hot water maintained a level of hygiene. Despite the minor inconveniences, the value for money was reasonable. I did find the lack of Hindi channels disappointing as I enjoy unwinding with some local entertainment after a long day of work.In conclusion, Shri Vasant Lodge provided a comfortable stay with friendly and helpful staff. While there were a few areas that could be improved, the overall experience was positive and suited my needs as a digital nomad looking for a productive yet relaxing stay.
